What's the most difficult thing you've forgiven?

Posted on Sep 18th, 2007 by Lynx : telepath Lynx
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 18, 2007:

Myself for choosing the father of my children with my eyes shut and my heart open. It's like trying to walk forward on one leg (hopping doesn't count)! There are inevitably many many wonderful things about my children, my step children and the incredible richness of my and all our lives as a result of that decision.

However the challenge to forgiveness lies in wondering what would have been if I had opted to walk forward in my life at that time with both legs. To have my heart open and my eyes too. In truth they were open initially, but I opted to close them when the depth of our mutual understanding did not go any deeper than it did.. and yet I opted to persevere with our joined path.

All of us have plenty of grist to the mills of our growth as a result. But I also understand now that ease too can colour my path of growth. In attempting to forgive myself on a daily basis I open myself to a more enjoyable growth with greater ease. Ease being preferable to dis-ease :)

does the flower have to label and visualize the relationship it has with the sun. we are the same… look for the simple warmness in marriage. Connect by saying nothing, look into each others eyes and listen to a thousand words and connections take place. Love is always there but often fogged by discussing and moving in directions to find it.  You are the ease happening now.

Thank you michael.. for reminding me of this.
Because we have a family together, this 'marriage' is not ended by 'divorce', though it is transmuted. Right now we're in the crucible of the transmutation and listening to the thousand words and connections comes with less ease than at other times.
I love to hold that I am the ease happening now :)
